Delete your Orbo account and data
This page explains how to permanently delete your Orbo account and all associated data. Orbo stores your game progress under an anonymous, device-based account — there is no username, password, or email sign-in.
How to delete your account in the app
On Android and iOS (same steps):
- Open the Orbo app.
- Tap the Player tab, then open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
If you can't open the app
Email contact@playorbo.fun from the device or account you used, and we will process the deletion request on your behalf.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove all data tied to it, including:
- Your anonymous device identifier (the credential used to recognise your account)
- All game progress — orbos, crops, inventory, upgrades, levels, currencies
- Purchase and transaction records linked to your account
- Push-notification tokens associated with you
- Your profile and event history in our product-analytics provider (PostHog), which we request the deletion of at the same time
Deletion is immediate and permanent — associated records are removed from our database by cascade and cannot be recovered.
What data is kept
- Aggregated and anonymised analytics that cannot be linked back to you or your device.
- Transaction records we are legally required to retain for tax and accounting purposes, kept only for the period required by law.
- Data held by the advertising, attribution and crash-reporting services built into our iOS and Android apps (Adjust, AppMetrica, Meta and Firebase/Crashlytics). Deleting your account does not by itself erase records those companies hold. To have those removed, email contact@playorbo.fun and we will raise the request with each of them.
